If you manage someone else’s calendar, you can add it to your calendar to see it alongside your own schedule, or you can create a shortcut to open their calendar in its own tab

If you manage someone else’s calendar, you can add it to your calendar to see it alongside your own schedule, or you can create a shortcut to open their calendar on its own tab.

To see someone’s else calendar on your calendar, add their calendar to yours.

In order to do this, that person must have given you access to their calendar.
Fade to calendar. Click Add Calendar, select Notes user’s calendar, enter the person’s name.

You can select a different color for these calendar entries, to set them apart from yours.
Choose a background color and text color.

Now you can see those calendar entries on your calendar.

You can also hide these calendar entries to just see your own calendar, or hide your calendar entries, to just see theirs.
See your calendar entries and the other person’s calendar entries together on one calendar.

Clear the checkbox next to that calendar name to hide the entries.

Select the checkbox next to that calendar name, and clear the checkbox next to your calendar name, to show only the other person’s calendar.

To create a shortcut to open the person’s calendar on its own tab, open preferences and go to the Access and Delegation section.
Click File -> Preferences, or on Mac Lotus Notes -> Preferences.

Click Mail.

Click Access and Delegation.

Go to Shortcuts to Others’ Mail, enter the name of the person whose calendar you are managing, and save your preferences.
Click Shortcuts to Others’ Mail. Under Create shortcuts to open the mail files of these, enter a name.

This creates a shortcut to that person’s calendar, as well as mail and to dos if you have access.
Fade to calendar. Click the shortcut to that person’s calendar. It opens in a new tab.
