Installation Notes
The system requirements and steps for installing or upgrading to a Lotus Traveler maintenance release are the same as for a major release. You can obtain the full install package from
Passport Advantage or an upgrade package from
Fix Central. The upgrade package requires the base level Lotus Traveler server already be installed. For example, to install Lotus Traveler 8.5.3.2 from Fix Central you need to be running Lotus Traveler 8.5.3.0 or later. If upgrading from a previous major release use the full package installer from Passport Advantage. Follow the Passport Advantage link and search for these part numbers:
Windows: CI6MGML
Linux: CI6MHML
Important
When upgrading to 8.5.3.2 the
defrag function may run automatically during the first start of the Lotus Traveler server. This will happen any time the database schema is updated as a result of the upgrade. The server will start normally once the defragmentation is completed. Depending on database size and system capabilities, the defragmentation may take longer than 30 minutes. Please plan this time into any scheduled maintenance window for upgrade. It is recommended to manually run the database defrag approximately once a month for enhanced performance.
Please review the 8.5.3 Product Documentation links below prior to installation.
