How do I change my password? How can I recover from a forgotten password?
To change your password, use the steps in
Modifying your account settings. If you have forgotten a password, use the "Forgot password?" link on the Log In page to reset your password.

I have trouble with the chat feature. How can I troubleshoot?
An expired password is a common cause; refer to
Unable to Access Sametime due to incorrect log on. If you need to know how to get started with chat, select Chat in the dashboard to load the chat client, then access the help file.
I am unable to find a person by searching in the Organization directory. What affects the directory search?
Administrators can have all users publicly listed in the directory, have only specific users listed publicly, or allow each user to decide whether they want to be publicly listed. See
